BARRACKS, STIRLING

THE BARRACKS CONSIST OF FIVE FORMER MILITARY BUILDINGS AT FORTHSIDE IN CENTRAL STIRLING.

Northpoint are undertaking a phased refurbishment of the buildings to create flexible workspace and leisure accommodation.

To date two of the five buildings have been refurbished and planning permission is in place for the refurbishment of the remaining buildings. Each building is arranged over two floors and can provide accommodation from 2,000 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft. in self contained units.

A further building is intended to be refurbished and brought to the market in late 2014.

Northpoint acquired the buildings as part of a wider mixed use development from Stirling Council.

Agents acting for Northpoint are Montague Evans and Graham and Sibbold.

PILKINGTONS, ST HELENS

NORTHPOINT HAVE  RECENTLY ENTERED INTO A LEGAL AGREEMENT WITH PILKINGTONS FOR THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF  A SITE IN THE CENTRE OF ST HELENS, MERSEYSIDE.

The proposed development will be focused on retail, and Northpoint are currently working with their Design Team to progress initial scheme proposals.

Once layout and design are agreed, Northpoint will progress a planning application and embark on a marketing campaign to secure key lettings.

Nothpoint’s agents are Reid Rose Gregory.

LUNESIDE EAST, LANCASTER

ACTING ON BEHALF OF LUNESIDE EAST LIMITED, A DEVELOPMENT SECURITIES OWNED COMPANY, NORTHPOINT ARE DELIVERING THIS MAJOR CITY CENTRE REGENERATION SCHEME.

The site was previously used for industrial purposes and was heavily contaminated.  Following the receipt of funding from the Lancashire County Council, Northpoint oversaw site clearance and remediation works.
